There were nights I cried so hard I couldn’t sleep. Moments when I stared at my bank account and wondered how I would pay for anything, let alone invest in a dream. I’ve lived in the in-between. The space between believing something was meant for me, but having nothing to show for it.

I had debt. I had plans that looked promising, but then the rug got pulled out from under me. Opportunities I worked hard for vanished. People broke promises. And the things I prayed for seemed so far away, I began to wonder if God even heard me anymore.

But even in that space, even in the silence, there was something inside me that wouldn’t let go. I wanted to be successful. Not just for me, but to show others it could be done. I wanted to be the bridge. To give people what I wish someone had given me—guidance, access, encouragement, truth.

That’s why I created Build and Never Break. It’s not just a business book. It’s a book about purpose. It’s about grit and faith, creativity and clarity, and building something that can outlast you. Something that won’t collapse under pressure. Something you can pass on.

I wrote this book for every person who’s ever had a dream but didn’t have the resources. For every woman juggling bills and business ideas. For every man who’s trying to lead, even when the path is unclear. For the creatives, the faith-walkers, the visionaries who just need someone to say: “It’s possible. You can build. And you will not break.”

“Though the vision tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
Habakkuk 2:3

We serve a God of process. Sometimes we want Him to deliver us overnight, but He’s developing us. He’s stretching our faith. He’s preparing us to hold what we’re praying for. And He will finish what He started in you.

Look at Joseph. Thrown into a pit by his brothers. Sold into slavery. Imprisoned for something he didn’t do. But even in the prison, God was setting him up for a palace. Joseph didn’t just dream. He endured. And in time, he managed a whole nation through famine. The very people who betrayed him had to come back to him for help—and he forgave them. He saw purpose in the pain.

“You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring about this present result.”
Genesis 50:20

That’s the God I believe in. That’s the truth I clung to while writing this book.

Build and Never Break was birthed out of my own rebuilding season. I wanted it to be something real and practical for people just like me—who are talented, faithful, and willing to work, but need a blueprint. Inside, you’ll find strategy. You’ll find stories. You’ll find fire. And most of all, you’ll find hope.

If you’re in a season where the road feels long, keep going.

If your heart has been broken by disappointment, let God heal it and repurpose it.

If you’re scared to start, start anyway.

Because the road is not easy. But it is worth it.

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion…”
Philippians 1:6

Your dream is not dead. Your calling hasn’t expired. There is still more for you.

So build. Build something bold. Build something blessed.
And whatever you do—never break.
